Founded in 1948, Dellwood follows a proud tradition of honoring the game of golf. Our golf course is a timeless masterpiece of rolling hills flanked by stately oaks and maples; a true embodiment of the traditions and challenges of a classic golf course.
Dellwood Country Club's premier attraction is its impeccably maintained 18-hole Par 71 championship golf course. The A.W. Tillinghast designed course presents a wide variety of challenging holes. This majestic course measures 6,767 yards from the tips (73.5 rating / 134 slope), but plays longer because of the number of elevated greens and dog legs that demand precision and precise shot-making. The greens are primarily made up of poa annua grass and the fairways are a mixture of perennial ryegrass and dwarf bluegrass. The course is continuously updated and improved, earning an excellent reputation in the Northern New Jersey and Rockland County golf community. This is just one of the reasons Dellwood was selected to host the Met Open qualifier tournament on July 26th, 2011.
Dellwood Country Club has full service practice facilities including a driving range, two sand traps, and manicured chipping and putting greens. The head PGA golf professional and his assistants, offer private and group lessons, golf clinics and schools. Younger golf members may participate in our Junior Golf Program, clinics and schools. Video lessons, golf carts, caddies, and locker rooms are available to all golfers.

Callaway Tour Van Experience At Dellwood!
Dellwood is privileged as one of the very few clubs across the country to host the Callaway Tour Van. The Callaway Tour Van has the technology to create any special order club on site. In addition, PGA Tour Pro Notah Begay III made a special guest appearance to assist Dellwood Members with club selections and provided instructional drills for the Membership during this wildly successful event.
Notah Ryan Begay III is the only full-blooded American Indian golfer on the PGA Tour. He attended Stanford University where he was a three-time All-American and a teammate of Tiger Woods. He was a member of Stanford's 1994 NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship team. In 1998, Begay shot a 59 in the second round of the Nike Tour's Dominion Open, to join the handful of golfers to ever shoot a 59 in a professional tournament. In 2005, Notah established the non-profit Notah Begay III Foundation. The immediate goal of the foundation was to provide health and wellness education to Native American youth in the form of soccer and golf programs.
